Jose Guadalupe Flores, 56, of Dimmitt passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Beeville, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church of Dimmitt with Rev. John Valdez officiating, burial will follow at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt. Rosary will be said at 6:30PM at the church on Thursday evening. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Jose was born December 12, 1954 in La Parilla, Durango, Mexico to Eulalio and Romana Flores. He married Bertha Flores on August 24, 1974 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. He has been a resident of Dimmitt for 33 years. He was a farmer for 13 years and was currently a truck driver for Corky Nelson. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Bertha Flores of Dimmitt; a son Lalo Flores and his wife Tracie of Dimmitt; a daughter Erika Rodriguez and her husband Baldo, Jr. of Dimmitt. His mother Romana Flores of El Paso; one brother Pablo Flores and his wife Sylvia of Dallas; two sisters Maria Reyes and her husband Ramon of El Paso and Romana Ramirez and her husband Roque of Amarillo and one sister-in-law Concha Flores of El Paso. Seven grandchildren He is preceded in death by his father Eulalio Flores and one brother Norberto Flores.
