Jouke Van Dijk, 51 of Nazareth, TX, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Hart, TX. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth, TX. Funeral Service will be at 4:00 PM on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth, Texas, with Pastor Bobby Medford, Hartley Christian Fellowship, and Pastor John Wait, Living Water Church in Dimmitt, TX, as officiants. Burial will follow in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, TX.

Jouke Van Dijk was born on January 12, 1965 in Scharnegoutum in the Netherlands, to Gabe and Baukje (Punter) Van Dijk. He married Albertje Jongsma on July 23, 1993 in Winnsboro, Texas. Jouke moved to Nazareth, TX in 2013 from Hartley, TX. He worked in the dairy business most of his life, he was employed with Frisia West, LLC in Hartley, TX for 10 years, and then with Spandet Feed Lot in Hart, TX for the last 3 years. Some of his loves in his life were following his children playing basketball, his dogs, swimming, reading, watching Fox News, and working at the dairy.
