Joy Grand, 90, of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in Dimmitt. Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas. There are no services scheduled currently.

Joy was born on July 7, 1932, in Blue, Oklahoma, to Joe and Vivian (Hartigan) Reinhart. She has been a resident of Dimmitt since 1967. Joy worked for Plains Memorial Hospital, Dimmitt Agri, and Heartland Cattle and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Joy loved cooking, gardening, and hosting holidays and family events in her home. She was a good person and liked doing things for her family.

Those left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Billy Beames and his wife Vicki of McAlester, Oklahoma, and Tony Beames and his wife Deana of Dimmitt, Texas, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sister Patsy "Lou" Thompson of Laughlin, Nevada, and brother-in-law Paul Fry of Dimmitt, Texas .

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Curtis Grand, daughter Debbie Davis, and a sister Glenna Fry.
