Juan Manuel Hernandez, 65, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Dimmitt. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church at 10:30AM with Rev. Raj Arockia as celebrant. Rosary service will be held on Monday from 6:00PM – 8:00PM in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the Mass in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direct care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Juan was born to Manuel Hernandez and Juanita Reyna Hernandez on September 24, 1950 in Elsa, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Dimmitt and worked as a truck driver in the agriculture industry. He enjoyed working in the paint and body industry as well as the restoration.

Juan is survived by 4 sons, Juan Hernandez Jr. of Amarillo, Teodoro Hernandez of San Marcos, Paul Hernandez of Luling, and Jorge Hernandez of Dimmitt, 2 daughters, Lucy Sifuentez of Amarillo and Victoria Hernandez of Dimmitt, 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Juana Navarro.
