Juana Hernandez, 82, of Dimmitt passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Amarillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church in Dimmitt with Rev. Lupe Mayorga officiating, burial to follow at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Juana has been a resident of Dimmitt since 1967, she was a homemaker all her life. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church of Dimmitt. She is survived by one son Juan Hernandez of Dimmitt. A sister Genobeva Leal of Edenburg, Texas Twelve grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel Hernandez, Jr.; a daughter Juanita Navarro, a son Rene Pena and a grandson Rocky Navarro.
