June was born on June 30, 1935 in Floydada TX to W.P. Ware and Grace Beard. June graduated from Lockney High School. She attended Texas Tech University, Arizona State and graduated from West Texas University with a Bachelor in Industrial Arts. She taught school at Dalhart, Dimmitt and Hart ISD. She married Dewayne Brown on August 8, 1963. She was a member of CHI PSI Sorority in Hart, First Baptist Church of Hart, she served on the decorating committee, she served on the Hart ISD school board, she was a Sunday school teacher for many years, she served as the First Lady of the Texas Grain and Feed Association. She was a proud member of the PTA of Plainview when her boys attended school there. Her hobbies were painting, playing cards with friends at the Raider Ranch while she was there, she loved animals, and above all she had a very generous and giving heart and spirit. June is survived by her son Garland Ware Brown and wife Crystal of Dimmitt and their two children Anna Blaire Brown, Garland Blaine Brown. She is preceded in death by her husband Dewayne Brown and a son Blair Brown, her parents, and two brothers Bill and Joe Ware.
