Kannon Ray Morris, entered into the presence and arms of Jesus on April 23, 2024. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth with Fr. Arokiaraj "Raj" Samala, Deacon Bob Birkenfeld, Deacon Joe Hochstein, Deacon Brad Brooks and Deacon Gerald Marnell as celebrants. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.

Kannon Ray Morris was born on February 23, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas to Logan and Kyla (Acker) Morris. Kannon was a precious, perfect gift from the Lord. He was a very calm, content, and peaceful baby.

"God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be. He wrapped His arms around you and whispered come with Me."

Those left to cherish Kannon's memories are his parents, Logan and Kyla Morris of Ropesville, Texas; big brother Baylor Morris of Ropesville, Texas; grandparents Cary and Leona Acker of Nazareth, Texas; grandfather Richard Morris of Snyder, Texas; Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, Jeremy and Karely Acker (Kaylin, Jensen, and Julian Acker) of Nazareth, Texas, Jacob and Jennifer Braddock (Ace and Brylee Braddock) of Shallowater, Texas, Chad and Tylar Acker (Major, Grady, and Dallon Acker) of Nazareth, Texas, Lance and Heather Morris (Asher, Easton and Riverlyn Morris) of Snyder, Texas, and Lacey Morris (Kairo Uchiha) of Snyder, Texas; great grandmother Mary Ford, great grandfather Michael Morris; and great-great grandmother Janie Kenney.

Kannon is preceded in death by his grandmother Angela Hester, and great-grandparents, Anthony and Angela Acker and Alphonse and Viola Kleman.
