Kay Lynn Willis Rogers, 62, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on February 8, 2014 in Lubbock Kay Lynn Willis Rogers was born on September 22, 1951 in Amarillo, Texas to G.L Willis and Ouida Byrnes Willis. She was called home by her Father in Heaven on February 8, 2014. She grew up in Dimmitt Texas and attended Dimmitt schools graduating from Dimmitt High School in 1970. She attended Texas Tech University where she met Andy Rogers whom she married on August 16, 1972. They lived in Santa Rosa New Mexico where they began their adventure into the cattle business. On January 30, 1974, their first born son Mark was born followed by Chad on August 3, 1977. In 1980 they moved back to Dimmitt Texas. Kay Lynn had a generous and loving heart. She loved taking care of friends and family. Most recently "Annie's" greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Kay was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dimmitt where she was active her entire life. Kay is survived by 2 sons, Mark Rogers and wife Elly of Amarillo, and Chad Rogers and wife Carrie of Shawnee, OK, 2 sisters, Shari Bradley and husband Gene of Dimmitt and Jan Baca and husband Mike of Vega, 4 grandchildren, Kayle and Cora Rogers and Lathan and Kate Lynn Rogers, and a special caregiver, Maria Aguero. She is preceded in death by her parents, G.L Willis and Ouida Byrnes Willis, 1 brother, George Max, and 1 sister Mary Sue, and grandparents, George and Nancy Willis and Clarence and Annie Faye Byrnes.
