Kayla Yvette Ramirez, 19, of Dimmitt, passed away on April 14, 2012 in Oklahoma City, OK. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:30AM in the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Ravi as celebrant. Rosary will be recited Sunday at 6:00PM in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with vigil service following. Burial will be in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt with arrangements being under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Kayla was born on May 27, 1992 in Dimmitt to Ismael Ramirez and Rosemary Barrios. She was raised in Dimmitt where she attended school until recently moving to Oklahoma City, OK. She was a young lady who was very outgoing. She is survived by a daughter, Aaliyah Nicole Tijerina of Oklahoma City, OK, her mother, Rosemary Barrios of Oklahoma City, her father, Ismael Ramirez of Dimmitt, one sister, Jazmyn Dozal of Oklahoma City, OK, five brothers, Isiah Dozal, Samuel Dozal Jr. Jonas Dozal all of Oklahoma City, Nathan Ramirez of Minnesota, and Ismael Ramirez Jr. of Dimmitt, grandmothers Margarita Peralta of Dimmitt and Irene Ramirez of Olton, step-father, Samuel Dozal of Oklahoma City, three aunts Bonnie Martinez, Dora Rodriguez and Priscilla Peralta all of Dimmitt, four uncles, Alfredo Barrios, Robert Barrios, Raul Barrios and Frank Peralta all of Dimmitt, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
