Kelly Weston Wilhelm, age 53 of Dimmitt Texas, was born July 29, 1968, in Dallas Texas to Weston and Dorothy (Webb) Wilhelm and passed away on December 27, 2021, in Amarillo Texas. He grew up in Richardson Texas where he was the beloved fifth and youngest child in a blended family. In Kelly's eulogy for his mother in 2005, he described each of his parents and siblings as holding pieces of string or yarn. Each one holding a separate piece, but when tied together, formed an unbreakable bond. His joy for life and uncanny ability to see only the good in others was at the very center of that bond. He was born with an extraordinary gift of bringing love and laughter into each encounter with family or friends. His greatest joy was when he was with family. At family gatherings, you could always find him in the kitchen sampling the food, laughing with one of his many nieces and nephews or challenging someone to a board game or cooking contest. Friends were drawn to his gentle spirit and kindness. He was always there for everyone with his generous nature, a kind word, or a joke to make you laugh. Kelly was most recently a student at Faith City Mission in Amarillo Texas where he served as a Chaplain in the Hope for Men Program. At Faith City Mission, Kelly was able to grow in his faith while serving others with his compassion and willingness to listen and offer comfort to others. Kelly met his first and last love, Tiffany Davis in 1992 in Dallas Texas. They reconnected in February of 2020 and were married on March 27, 2020, at Restored Christian Fellowship Church in Dimmitt Texas of which Kelly later joined. Kelly is preceded in death by his father, Weston Wilhelm; his mother, Dorothy Wilhelm and older brothers, Curtis Pray Jr, Stephen Pray and Craig Pray. He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Davis Wilhelm of Dimmitt; sister, Lynda Pray Phelps and brother-in-law, John Phelps of Garland Texas; 6 nieces and 7 nephews as well as numerous other family and friends. Celebration of Life Service to be held at 2:30 at First Baptist Church of Dimmitt, on Thursday, December 30, 2021.
