Kim D. Boozer, 54, of Dimmitt passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 in Lubbock. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church at 10:00AM in Dimmitt with Greg Lavo and Trent Sisemore officiating with local arrangements under the care and direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at the funeral home. Kim D. Boozer was born on November 3, 1960 in Amarillo to Douglas and Jackye Perkins. Kim grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1978. Kim married Robert Boozer on August 6, 1994 in Amarillo at Paramount Terrace Christian Church. Kim enjoyed all animals and taking care of them when needed. Kim was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dimmitt. She had a kind and very loving heart which was easily seen when loving and caring for her family. Kim is survived by her husband, Robert Boozer of Dimmitt, 2 sons, Brock Boozer and Colin Boozer both of Dimmitt, her parents, Doug and Jackye Perkins of Amarillo, 2 sisters, Dana Hogan and husband Mark of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sharla Sisemore and husband Trent of Amarillo, father and mother-in-law, Monty and Sue Boozer of Dimmitt, sister-in-law Kyla Kenworthy and husband Tim of Canyon, 2 brothers-in-law, Jodie Riley and Britt Boozer and wife Karen of Creston, IA, 5 nieces, Caroline Hawkins, Danielle Sisemore, Lauren Hogan, Lindsey Hogan and Avery Boozer, 3 nephews, Evan Riley, Josh Riley and Greyson Boozer.
