LaWanda Youts Quintero, 67, of Dimmitt, passed away on November 28, 2011in Dimmitt. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 2:00PM in the First Baptist Church of Dimmitt with Clint Young , pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. Family Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5PM - 7PM at the funeral home. LaWanda was born on Dec.12, 1943 to Charles and Wanda Youts in Dimmitt, TX. She was raised in Dimmitt and attended school in Dimmitt. She married Cruz Quintero on Oct. 19, 1976 in Tulia. She farmed with her husband for many years around the Panhandle. She is survived by her spouse; Cruz Quintero of Dimmitt, 1 sister; Shirley Carpenter and husband Travis of Lubbock, 1 brother; Charles Thomas Youts Jr. and wife Mary Ann of East Benard, TX, 1 special Aunt; Thelma Moore of Lamesa and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister; Charlette Marie Sanders. Memorials may be sent to Samaritan Hospice, 426 Main St., Hereford, TX 79045
