Lilia Rueda, 80, of Dimmitt passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012 in Amarillo. Lilia was born April 25, 1932 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Lupe and Maria Leyva. She was a longtime resident of Dimmitt. She has been married to Jose Rueda for 61 years. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church of Dimmitt. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening. She was a loving mother and wife and she loved her family unconditionally. Pallbearers will be Eric Villalovos, Jimmie Mitchell, Johnny Garza, Anthony Rueda, Jason Hernandez, and James Garza She is survived by her husband, Jose Rueda of Amarillo; 8 children; Lupe Ortiz and her husband Carlos, Rachel Mitchell and her husband Jerry and Josie Rueda all of Amarillo; Ortensia Garcia of Lubbock; Leticia Carpenter and her husband Stewart of Savannah, Georgia, Arturo Rueda of Mexico; Janie Navarrete and her husband Eddie of Dalhart and Joe Rueda of Arkansas. One sister Celia Schaeffer of El Paso. 31 Grandchildren and 43 Great Grandchildren She is preceded in death by a daughter, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, a granddaughter,a great-grandson, and a son-in-law
