Linda Marie Adams, 68, of Lubbock, went home to her heavenly father on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10:30AM in the Fourth & Bedford Church of Christ in Dimmitt. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.
Linda was born in Portales, New Mexico on September 15, 1950, to Orby Rufus and Sylvia Marie Cooper Moore, and she grew up in Dimmitt, Texas. She married Jeff Adams on July 4, 2000, in Lubbock. Linda lived life to its fullest, loved to laugh, dance, and sing, and brought joy to those around her. She also had a unique and wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband Jeff, her children, Marsha Acevedo and husband Michael of Abernathy, Kristin Davis and husband Buddy of Round Rock, Jessica Talamantez and husband Robert of Amarillo, Toby Wimberley and wife Shelby of Lubbock, and Jarrod Adams of San Diego, seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog Peanut. She is also survived by her brothers Richard Moore and wife Delle of Dimmitt and Orby Wayne Moore and wife Gay of Shallowater, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Harold Moore and wife Delpha.
