Linda Perry, 70, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in Amarillo, Texas. Family visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00AM in the Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery with a memorial service following at the First United Methodist Church of Dimmitt with Pastor T.C. Broom officiating. Local arrangements are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home.
Linda (Kuntz) Perry was born on March 20, 1947 to Fred Henry Kuntz and Helen Lucille (Anthony) Kuntz in Dimmitt, Texas. Linda married Richard E. Perry on June 10, 1978. Linda received her Master's Degree in art and taught for Amarillo College for 11 years before retiring. She was a longtime faithful member of the First United Methodist Church, Methodist Women's Group, W.T. Alumni, Texas Classroom Teachers Association but most importantly she had a very special place in her heart for the Special Olympics. She enjoyed anything and everything that pertained to art. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by all.
Linda is survived by a son, Ricky E. Perry and wife Sarah of Amarillo, daughter, Cindy A. Perry of Amarillo, brothers, Ricky Kuntz of Dimmitt and Charles Kuntz and wife Margaret of Wheeler, sister-in-law, Lola Mae Perry of El Paso.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Helen Kuntz, spouse, Richard E. Perry.
