Manuel R. Domínguez, de 88 años, de Hart, Texas, falleció el sábado 12 de agosto de 2023 en Lubbock, Texas. La Misa de Entierro Cristiano se llevará a cabo el viernes 18 de agosto de 2023 a las 10:30 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica San Juan Nepomuceno con el Reverendo David Contreras, el Diácono John Nino y el Diácono Richard Martínez como celebrantes. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio Hart bajo la dirección de Colonial Funeral Home de Dimmitt, Texas. El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 17 de agosto de 2023, de 3:00 a 7:00 p.m. con un servicio de rosario / vigilia a partir de las 6:00 p.m.

Manuel nació el 11 de octubre de 1934 en Guadalupe, México, hijo de Apetacio e Isabel (Rodríguez) Domínguez. Se casó con Catalina Yebra Domínguez en México y compartieron 61 maravillosos años juntos.  Manuel trabajó como jornalero agrícola hasta su jubilación. Le encantaba la jardinería, cortar el césped, la carpintería, trabajar al aire libre y ver telenovelas. Su pasión era ver boxeo. Manuel era muy amable, platicador, y ayudaba a cualquiera y a todos, tenía un corazón abierto y era amoroso.

Los que quedan para apreciar los recuerdos de Manuel son, su esposa Catalina Domínguez de Hart, Texas; hijos, Javier Domínguez, Rafael Domínguez, Juan Domínguez y su esposa Velinda, Abel Domínguez y su esposa Aundrea todos de Plainview, Texas, y Roberto Yebra de Olton, Texas; hijas, Virginia Domínguez Banda y su esposo Ray de Dallas, Texas, Margarita Morales y su esposo Lucio, Isabel Rosales y su esposo Joe, Brenda Domínguez todos de Plainview, Texas, Leticia Domínguez y su esposo Meme Castillo de México, y Alma Mercado y su esposo Nick de Lubbock, Texas; numerosos nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos; hermano Agapito Domínguez de Juárez, México; hermanas, Esperanza Domínguez, Juana Domínguez y Rosa Domínguez todas de Juárez, México.

Le preceden en la muerte sus padres Apetacio e Isabel Domínguez, su hija María Estella Domínguez Vasques, su hermana Racheal Domínguez, su hermano Ricardo Domínguez y tres nietos, Alejandro, Luis y Francisca Castillo.

Manuel R. Dominguez, 88, of Hart, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Reverend David Contreras, Deacon John Nino, and Deacon Richard Martinez as celebrants. Burial will follow at Hart Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas. Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. with a Rosary/Vigil Service beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Manuel was born on October 11, 1934, in Guadalupe, Mexico to Apetacio and Isabel (Rodriguez) Dominguez. He married Catalina Yebra Dominguez in Mexico and they shared 61 wonderful years together.  Manuel worked as a farm laborer until retirement. He loved gardening, mowing his yard, carpentry, working outside, and watching telenovelas. His passion was watching boxing. Manuel was very friendly, talkative, and would help anyone and everyone, he had an open heart and was loving.

Those left to cherish Manuel's memories are, his wife Catalina Dominguez of Hart, Texas; sons, Javier Dominguez, Rafael Dominguez, Juan Dominguez and his wife Velinda, Abel Dominguez and his wife Aundrea all of Plainview, Texas, and Roberto Yebra of Olton, Texas; daughters, Virginia Dominguez Banda and her husband Ray of Dallas, Texas, Margarita Morales and her husband Lucio, Isabel Rosales and her husband Joe, Brenda Dominguez all of Plainview, Texas, Leticia Dominguez and her husband Meme Castillo of Mexico, and Alma Mercado and her husband Nick of Lubbock, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; brother Agapito Dominguez of Juarez, Mexico; sisters, Esperanza Dominguez, Juana Dominguez, and Rosa Dominguez all of Juarez, Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents Apetacio and Isabel Dominguez, daughter Maria Estella Dominguez Vasques, sister Racheal Dominguez, brother Ricardo Dominguez, and three grandchildren, Alejandro, Luis, and Francisca Castillo.
