Maria Rosalinda Amador, 58 of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on July 4, 2017 peacefully at her home.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 1:00 PM with Rev. Raj Arockia and Deacon John Niño as co-celebrants.  Burial will follow under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.  Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in the Colonial Funeral Chapel at beginning at 6:00 PM.

Maria Rosalinda Amador was born on December 13, 1958 in Matamoros, Mexico to Gregorio and Eudelia Rodriguez.  She has lived in the Dimmitt community since 1978.  She married Rosendo Amador in Dimmitt, Texas in 1983.  She worked as a CNA for The Arbors for 14 years and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Through her years she enjoyed shopping and dancing with her spare time.  But most importantly she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Rosendo Amador of Dimmitt, TX, 2 daughters, Wendy Henson of Dimmitt, TX, Kathy Williams of North Bethesda, MD and 1 son, Rosendo Amador, Jr. of Canyon, TX, 5 sisters, Elida Rodriguez of Pharr, TX, Maricela Rodriguez of Harlingen, TX, Estella Rodriguez, Beatriz Rodriguez and Alma Rodriguez all of Mexico, 4 brothers, Juan Rodriguez, Cruz Rodriguez, Gregorio Rodriguez and Luis Rodriguez all of Mexico and 3 grandchildren, Jubilee Faith Amador, Gwendolyn Henson and Ayden Henson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Eudelia Rodriguez.
