Marisela Medrano, 45, of Dimmitt died Friday, September 20, 2013 in Dimmitt Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dimmitt with Rev. Raj Arockia as celebrant, burial to follow at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt. Rosary will be said Tuesday evening beginning at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Marisela was born July 31, 1968 Chihuahua, Mexico to Sipriano and Elvira (Garcia) Loya. She moved to Hereford in 1993, and then moved to Dimmitt. She was a house cleaner for a number of years. She enjoyed being with her family and having reunions, and she was a loving mother and spouse. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Leopoldo Medrano, of Dimmitt; one son, Marco Medrano and one daughter, Lizbeth Medrano, both of Dimmitt; her mother, Doa Elvira Loya, of Mexico; 3 brothers, Ramiro, Jose Maria Loya, both of Mexico and Elias Loya, of Las Vegas, Nevada; 4 sisters, Magdalena Motao, of Detroit, MI; Teresa Loya, of Denver, CO; Blanca Motao, of Utah and Elvira Loya, of Mexico.
