Marta Espinoza, 75, of Edmonson, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Edmonson surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Hart, Texas with Father Arockiaraj Malapady officiating. Burial to follow at Hart Cemetery. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church.

Marta was born on July 11, 1945 in Calera De Victor Rosales, Zacatecas, Mexico to  Dionicio and Maria (Bernabe) Pichardo.  Marta married Manuel Espinoza on February 14, 1968, they moved to the United States in 1973 with their children. Marta was an extremely hard working woman who taught her children the value of work. She worked in the fields, for the church as a Guadalupana, and as a homemaker. She took great pride in taking care of her husband, children, and home. Marta loved to shop, go out to eat, and take care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, feeding her family, and was known for her tamales. Later in life Marta enjoyed time spent walking with her husband Manual.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Manuel Espinoza of Edmonson, Texas, children Dolores Espinoza of Plainview, TX, Manuel Espinoza Jr. of Colorado, Estela Cazares of Amarillo, Texas, Evangelina Sepeda and husband Adam of Wolforth, Texas, and Pablo Espinoza Sr. of Colorado, siblings Rosa Hernandez, Manuela Pichardo, Miguel Pichardo, and Armando Pichardo all of Mexico, fifteen grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
