Martha De La Cruz, 94, formerly of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 in Amarillo.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10:30AM in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Arockia Raj Malatady as celebrant with burial following in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.  Rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the funeral home.

Martha De La Cruz was born in Trent, Texas to Jose Montiel and Lucia (Paylina) Montiel.  Martha married Joaquin De La Cruz.  She enjoyed baking, cooking, arts, crafts and spending time with family and friends.

Martha is survived by 2 sons, Jake De La Cruz and wife Andrea of Canyon and Hildo De La Cruz of Ft. Worth, 2 daughters, Mickey De La Cruz and Estella Lopez both of Dimmitt, 3 granddaughters, Monica Rangel, Crystal De La Cruz and Kassandra De La Cruz along with 2 great-grandchildren, Jakeum De La Cruz and Maddox Dominguez.

Martha is preceded in death by her spouse, Joaquin De La Cruz.
