Mary E. Juarez, 65, of Dimmitt passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Abundant Life Family Church in Dimmitt with Rev. Tom Mullins officiating, burial to follow at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Family and friend visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home at 6:30PM. Mary was born on July 10, 1949 in Raymondville, Texas to Juan and Maria Oltivero. She grew up in Raymondville and later she and her family moved to Dimmitt and this is where she met and married Juan Angel Juarez her husband on October 3, 1964. She worked for the Castro County Nursing and Rehabilitation in Dimmitt for 40 years as the supervisor in housekeeping. Her hobbies were spending time with her grandkids, she enjoyed her job and working, she loved going to play Bingo and going to flea markets. She was always happy and loved joking around, she loved her cats, she was known as "grandma with the cats." She is survived by her 2 sons Jose Juarez, Jr. and his wife Leticia of San Antonio; Oscar Juarez of Dimmitt; 4 daughters Sylvia Sanchez and her husband Sergio of Rifle. CO; Rebecca Martinez and her husband Domingo of Dimmitt; JoAnn Pena and her husband Gilbert of Nazareth and Melissa Delgadillo and her husband Martin of Florence, Texas. 3 brothers; Esteban Oltivero, Santos Oltivero, Sr and Jesus Oltivero all of Dimmitt and 1 sister Lupe Zuniga of Weslaco, Texas. 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jose Angel Juarez, a son Omar Juarez, 3 brothers Richard, Juan, Jr. and Rey Oltivero and 2 sisters Rosa Sepeda and Juana Ruiz.
