Mary Ramos"Prieta" DeCeniceros, 71, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 in Amarillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady and Deacon John Niño as celebrants.  Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direct care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.  Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 6:00PM at the funeral home.

Mary was born May 4, 1947 in Rodeo, Durango, Mexico to Santiago and Catalina (Medina) Ramos. Mary has been a resident of Dimmitt for 40 years. She married Miguel Ceniceros on October 13, 1975. She worked as a housekeeper for Kenneth and Dwight O'Brien of Friona. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dimmitt. Mary was a great cook, her family loved her rice, beans and tortillas, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, listening to music, dancing, watching novelas  or soap operas , "One Life to Live" was one of her favorites, but her greatest love was spending time with her family. She was a wonderful and special wife, sister and aunt.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Miguel Ceniceros of Dimmitt, four sisters Antonia Rios and husband Ramon and Maria E. DeLaCruz and her husband Herminio all of Dimmitt; Ignacia Rangel and her husband Eduardo and Catalina Sanchez and her husband Daniel all of Dumas and one brother Santiago Ramos of Dimmitt; a very special nephew Raul Rios of Amarillo and several other nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Julio Ramos.
