Max Sandoval, 35, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, in Dimmitt. Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dimmitt with Reverend David Contreras as celebrant. Burial will follow at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. A family and friend visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Maximo "Max" Sandoval, Jr. was born on March 25, 1990, in Dimmitt, Texas to Maximo Sr. and Carmelita "Carmen" (Banda) Sandoval. He attended school in Dimmitt. Max worked as a welder for MK Middleton in Hereford, and then as a truck driver for Getter Done Transportation, EC Trucking, R2 Trucking, and Rouser Truck Service. Max met his best friend and wife Alyssa Saenz in High School, and they have been together for 15 years.

Max loved spending time with his children, cooking out, watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, hanging out with friends, and going on day trips to the lake with his family. Max was a good man, always helping, hardworking, and very patient. He was a great husband and dad; family always came first.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Alyssa Saenz; daughter Eliana Faith Sandoval, sons Victor Emigidio Sandoval, and Derek Rey Sandoval, all of Dimmit, Texas; father Maximo Sandoval Sr. and wife Grace of Amarillo, Texas; grandparents Emigidio and Maria Luisa Sandoval of Dimmitt, Texas and Alicia and Val Rodriguez of Brownwood, Texas; brother Mauricio Sandoval of Odessa, Texas; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mom Carmen Banda Sandoval and maternal grandfather Ramon Banda.
