Mearle Alma Morgan, 95, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in Dimmitt.  Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Jay Mykytiuk officiating.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.

Mearle Morgan was born on September 26, 1922 in Valley Mills, Texas to Everett Holmes and Alma (Bost) Holmes.  Mearle married A.T. " Buster" Morgan on May 17, 1945.  She worked in the home and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dimmitt for many years.  She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens and playing games with longtime friends, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family.

Mearle is survived by 2 children, Randy Morgan and wife Renise of Dimmitt, TX and Deanna Cooner and husband Gary of Blanchard, OK, 2 brothers, Joe Holmes of Crawford, TX and Jim Holmes of Moody, TX, 2 grandchildren, Jonathan Harris and Amy Mykytiuk, 7 grandchildren, Ostyn Harris, Bayle Harris, Benjamin Mykytiuk, Levi Mykytiuk, Jude Mykytiuk, Audrey Mykytiuk and Zebullon Mykytiuk.

Mearle is preceded in death by her husband, A.T. "Buster"  Morgan,  son, Ricky Morgan, siblings, R.W. Holmes, Hazel Hawkins, Red Holmes, Earle Holmes, Rayburn Holmes, Ed Holmes, Bob Holmes and Bill Holmes.
