Raul (Tiny) Hinojosa Jr. 33, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on December 10, 2016 in Amarillo, Texas.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. in The Church of God of the First Born in Dimmitt, Texas with Pastors Jesse Ramirez and Ray Sanchez officiating.  Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.  A prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Dimmitt.

Raul was born on December 23, 1982 in Dimmitt, Texas to Raul Hinojosa Sr. and Andrea (Tijerina) Hinojosa.  Raul grew up in Dimmitt and attended Dimmitt schools before moving to San Marcos, Texas.  He enjoyed working on different projects and fixing things that needed attention.  But most importantly, Raul loved spending time with his family and especially his children and granddaughter.

Raul is survived by his wife, Yvonne Hinojosa of Dimmitt, TX, 4 daughters, Marisa Barrientos, Cassandra Barrientos and Jasmine Barrientos all of Dimmitt, TX and Kylie Hinojosa of Kyle, TX, 1 son, Jovon Hinojosa of Dimmitt, TX, 1 granddaughter, Alannah Barrientos of Dimmitt, TX, parents, Raul Hinojosa Sr. and wife Hermelinda of San Marcos, TX and Andrea Amaya and husband Alfredo of Albuquerque, NM, 2 brothers, Michael Hinojosa and wife Jessica of Dimmitt, TX, and Gabriel Hinojosa of Denton, TX, grandparents, Erminia Tijerina of Dimmitt, TX and Isidoro and Felicita Hinojosa of Midland, TX, mother-in-law, Irma Garza and father-in-law Tomas Garza both of Hereford, TX along with many nieces and nephews.

Raul is preceded in death by his grandfather, Teodoro Tijerina.
