Raul Trigo, 77, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on January 19, 2014 in New Braunfels, Texas. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Celebrant Rev. Anthony Swamy Aakula Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6:00PM at the funeral home. Raul was born on December 25, 1936 in Olmito, Texas to Alejandro and Avrora Abrego Trigo. Raul was a resident of Castro County most of his life. He married Ofelia Espinoza in Dimmitt in 1997. He was a farmer and a member of the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church in Dimmitt. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music and traveling. Raul is survived by 3 daughters, Susie Trigo of Commanche, Avrora Trigo of California and Vickie Trigo of Kansas, 1 son Raul Trigo Jr. of Pecos, Texas, 1 brother, Alejandro Trigo of New Braunfels, 1 sister, Dora Trigo of McAllen, 11 grandchildren.
