Raymond Braddock, son of Vincent Braddock and Louise (Schmucker) Braddock, was born in Dimmitt, Texas on October 5, 1946, and departed this life on July 27, 2023, in Amarillo, Texas, at the age of seventy-six years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 10:00AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Arokiaraj Samala, Deacon Bob Birkenfeld, and Joe Hochstein as celebrants.  Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.  Rosary will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 6:00PM at the church.
Raymond Braddock was a lifelong resident of Nazareth.  He worked on the family farm and the dairy farm in Nazareth most of his life and as a mechanic.  Later, he worked for Cobalt Cattle Company and was employed with them for 20 years.  He enjoyed welding and fabricating anything out of metal.  He was always working with his tractors when he had the time.  He loved to watch RFD TV, take long drives with his grandchildren, and enjoying Sunday as a time for family and relaxation.   Raymond was a lifelong member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Raymond will be remembered as a loving, caring and a hardworking man who loved his family very much.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Belle Braddock of Canyon, children, Justin Braddock and wife Stephanie of Amarillo, Cindy Peterson and husband Shawnun of Amarillo, Clint Braddock and wife Susan of Tennessee, Jason Braddock of Kansas, Tawnie Fuqua and husband Chris of Canyon, Krista Vinson and husband Rob of Bullard, and Marcie Braddock of Canyon, siblings, Marilyn Wilson and husband Gail of Olton, Joan Backus and husband Hubert of Nazareth, Dorothy Schulte and husband Floyd of Nazareth, Susie Gerber and husband Gene of Georgetown, Duane Braddock and wife Peggy of Amarillo, Cecil Braddock and wife Lenora of Nazareth, Dan Braddock and wife Laura of Clovis, and Thomas Braddock of Nazareth, seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gerald Braddock, son, Scott Braddock, granddaughter, Rebecca Braddock and great-granddaughter, Alyanna Braddock.
