Richard Dobmeier, 70 of Nazareth passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 in Nazareth.  Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M.  Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth with Mass of Christian Burial service at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth with Rev. Ken Keller, Rev. John Dalton, and Deacon Bob Birkenfeld as Celebrants.  Burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery by Colonial Funeral  Home of Dimmitt.

Richard was born February 22, 1947 in Dimmitt, Texas to Leo and Brigitta Hochstein Dobmeier.

He was recently retired from West Texas Gas Company, was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors includes:  mother:  Brigitta Dobmeier of Nazareth,  4 brothers:  Allen Dobmeier and wife Stephanne of Nazareth, Gene Dobmeier and deceased wife Jackie, Neil Dobmeier  and wife Sue of Garden Dale, Texas, and Glenn Dobmeier of Austin, 6 sisters:  Judith Irlbeck and husband David of Grygla, MN. , Janice Johnson and husband Joe Dee of Nazareth, Susan Murff and husband Dennis of Manchaca, Texas, Gail McCandles and husband Robert of Livingston, Texas, Rena Hellstein and husband Tim of Seabrook, Texas, and Elaine Culver and husband Michael of Levelland,  numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, 1 brother- Ronald Dobmeier and 1 sister-Mary Ann Dobmeier.
