Robbie Grossman, 74, of Hart, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023, in Hart.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Arokiaraj Samala, Deacon Bob Birkenfeld, and Deacon Joe Hochstein as celebrants.  Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery under the care of the Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.  The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home at 809 Butler Blvd., Dimmit, Texas.
Robbie (Rice) Grossman was born on November 22, 1948, in Littlefield, Texas to L.J. Rice and Dixie Joyce (Carter) Rice.  She was a lifelong resident of Hart, Texas, and graduated from Hart High School in 1967.  After graduation, she attended floral design school in Denver, Colorado.  She later worked as a telephone operator and worked at various flower shops in Dimmitt and Hart, including her grandmother's flower shop.
Robbie married Leo Grossman on March 31, 1973.  Robbie enjoyed all aspects of being a homemaker and being a farmer's wife.
Robbie enjoyed many simple pleasures, such as arranging picture-perfect flower bouquets, wrapping beautiful packages, decorating for holidays, playing cards and dominoes with family, attending Saturday evening mass, humming her favorite hymns, sipping sweet tea, and spoiling her granddaughters and nieces.
Robbie was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend.  Her loving spirit, kind soul, and selfless nature were known to all.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Leo Grossman of Hart, two daughters, Kimberlea Coleman and husband Chris of Auburn, AL, and Kandee Grossman (Eric Montes) of Lubbock, one son, Jay Grossman of Hart, one brother, Danny Rice of Nazareth, three granddaughters, Kaytie, Clara, and Laney Coleman along with a special friend, Barbara Lee of Hart.
Robbie is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Scott Rice and sister-in-law, Shelly Rice.
