?Roberto Anes, Sr. 46, of Dimmitt passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 in Amarillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Raj Arockia officiating, burial to follow at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Rosary and vigil will be Wednesday evening at 6:00PM at the funeral home.

Roberto was born October 15, 1969 in Dimmitt to Jose and Maria DelaLuz Anes. He graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1989. He was employed at Thriftway Grocery Store for two years then later went to work with Dan Nelson as a rig operator for many years; his latest employment was with Aguero Trucking. He met the love of his life in 1992, Elisa Aguero and have been together for twenty-four years. Roberto enjoyed drawing, playing games on his tablet, dancing, singing, landscaping, cooking out with family and friends, making the people around him laugh and always being the life of the party, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren, children, family and his friends.

He is survived by his wife Elisa Aguero Anes of Dimmitt, his children Stacie Bermea of Waco, Matthew, Clarissa and Robert, Jr. Anes all of Dimmitt; a brother Javier Anes of Odessa; three sisters Annette Gonzales, Mary Sias and Ramona Anes all of Dimmitt; four grandchildren Noah Baker, Aubrey Anes, Zaybree Anes and Jaelynn Johnson and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
