Rogelio Alonzo Prieto, 36, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on January 13, 2017 in Dimmitt.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Raj Arockia and Deacon John Niño officiating.  Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt, Texas under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.  Rosary will be recited on Monday at 6:00 P.M. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with vigil service following.

Rogelio was born on August 12, 1980 to Gabriel Alonzo and Maria Teresa (Prieto) Alonzo in El Gavilan Jalisco, Mexico

Rogelio had lived in the Dimmitt community since 2003.  He married Mariana (Hernandez) Alonzo  on December 9, 2006. Rogelio worked for Double D Feedyard for 2 years and he enjoyed working on cars, listening to music, carpentry work and spending time outdoors.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dimmitt, Texas.

Rogelio is survived by his wife, Mariana Alonzo of Dimmitt, 3 children, Gabriela Alonzo, Rogelio Alonzo, Jr. and Kassandra Alonzo all of Dimmitt, parents, Gabriel Alonzo and Maria Teresa (Prieto) Alonzo of Jalisco, Mexico, 2 brothers, Ernesto Alonzo of Arizona and Antonio Alonzo of Jalisco, Mexico, 3 sisters, Maria Teresa Fuentes of Dimmitt, Cecelia Moya of California and Liliana Hernandez of Jalisco, Mexico.
