Rosa Linda Garcia, 68, of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in Dimmitt, Texas. No services are scheduled at this time and cremation services are under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.
Rosa Linda Garcia was born on August 30, 1952 in Mercedes, Texas to Ben Presas and Ana Marie (Martinez) Presas. Rosa Linda grew up in Dimmitt and had been a resident of Dimmitt for 47 years. She graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1972 and worked for the Dimmitt Independent School District for 5 years as a teacher's aid. She loved the Dallas Cowboys, pink roses, going on walks and was a great cook. But most of all she will be remembered by being a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
Rosa Linda Garcia is survived by her daughters, Misty Anes, Melynda Borrego and Mindy Lopez and husband Jose all of Dimmitt, brothers, Rolando Presas and wife Rachel of Utah, Sergio Presas and wife Dora of New Mexico, Joe Presas and wife Peggy of Amarillo, Richard Presas and wife Christina of Amarillo and a sister, Cecilia Olguin and husband James of Hereford, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Gracie Presas, husband, Natividad Anes and 2nd husband Robert Garcia.
