Ross Rodriguez, 52, of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Hereford, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Celebrant Arockiaraj Malapady and deacons John Nino and Richard Martinez. Burial to follow at Castro Memorial Gardens in Dimmitt, under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home. A Rosary/Vigil Service will be held before Mass on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 12:30 P.M.

Ross was born on January 22, 1970, in Dimmitt, Texas, to Antonio and Maria Esther (Reyes) Rodriguez. Ross was a long-time resident of Dimmitt but spent twenty years in Amarillo with his family and work before returning home to Dimmitt. Ross worked as a groundskeeper for Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo, North Heights School as a para-professional and truck driver for Arteaga Trucking in Hereford. Ross was a hard worker and enjoyed working, especially being a truck driver, but his greatest enjoyment was time spent with his family; he also enjoyed riding his bike, playing chess, and helping others. He was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Ross loved making everyone laugh; he was outgoing and would make friends wherever he was, and he saw the very best in everyone. Ross was generous, giving, and helped with "Helping Hands." He loved going to church; it was important to him to make a difference in other people's lives and share the love of Christ with them. Ross was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Maria Esther Reyes Rodriguez of Dimmitt, Texas; father, Antonio Rodriguez and his wife Barbara of Sacramento, California; children, Nathalia Rosales Rodriguez of Amarillo, Texas, Noah Rosales Rodriguez of Amarillo, and Aurora Rodriguez of Plainview, Texas; siblings, Jennie Miller and her husband Chris of Columbus, Georgia, Toni Rodriguez and her husband Thomas of Amarillo, Texas, Randy Rodriguez and his wife Lori of Sanford, North Carolina, Antonio Rodriguez and his wife Miriam of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Eva Rodriguez, and her husband Harold of Amarillo, Texas, Olivia Rodriguez of Amarillo, Texas, Esther Singfield and her husband Joey of El Paso, Texas, and Tina Bermea and her husband Nic of New Braunfels, Texas; twenty- seven nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his uncle Rey Reyes.
