Ruth Anna Cochran, 64, of Dimmitt, TX passed away on November 23, 2013 in Dimmitt. Memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Tulia at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Ruth was born on January 2, 1949 in Texarkana, TX to Horace and Anna Houdashell Cochran. She graduated from North Texas State University in Denton with a Master's degree. She was a librarian for many years with the Dimmitt Independent School District. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tulia where she was very active. She is survived by 4 cousins, Joe Thomas of Frisco, Don Cochran of Texarkana, TX, Donna Williams of Allen, TX, and Mary Ann Kelly of Murrieta, CA She was preceded in death by her parents.
