Sammy Raper, 65, of Dimmitt passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in Dimmitt. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Fourth and Bedford Church of Christ with Mr. James Jones officiating, burial to follow at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Sammy was born November 12, 1947 to Sam, Sr. and Pearl Raper. He graduated from Dimmitt High School and has been a lifelong resident of Dimmitt. Sammy never met a stranger and he enjoyed visiting with everyone. He is survived by his brother, Bobby Raper of Victoria and numerous friends that were like family to Sammy in the Dimmitt community. He will be dearly missed by many in our community.
