Scott Lee Braddock, 43, of Canyon, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Canyon. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 2:00PM in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bob Birkenfeld officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery in Nazareth, Texas under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5:00PM – 8:00PM at the funeral home.

Scott Lee Braddock was born on November 3, 1975 in Würzburg, Bavaria West Germany to Raymond V. Braddock and Belle (Scott) Braddock. Scott grew up in Nazareth Texas and graduated from Nazareth High School. He lived in Illinois before moving to Canyon Texas eight years ago. He worked as a mechanic for Classic Cars and he then worked independently on his own rebuilding classic cars and motorcycles. Scott loved football, he enjoyed playing Madden Football with his nephews, he also loved teaching them about mechanics. Scott was the jokester of the family, he enjoyed making people smile and laugh; he was his mother's caretaker and loved her deeply, he loved his dog Bandit, but above all these he loved spending time with his daughter, his granddaughter and his family. Scott was a wonderful son, dad, granddad, brother and uncle who will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Raymond and Belle (Scott) Braddock of Canyon, TX, daughter, Lesley Braddock of Leander, TX, two brothers, Justin Braddock and wife Stephanie of Amarillo, TX and Kevin Willis of California, four sisters, Tawnie Fuqua and husband Chris of Canyon, Krista Vinson and husband Rob of Tyler, TX, Marcie Braddock and Paul Trevino of Tulia, TX and Bambi Grummel of Illinois, granddaughter, Arianna, two step-brothers, Clint Braddock and wife Susan of Borger, TX and Jason Braddock of Kansas, one step-sister, Cindy Peterson and husband Shaunen of Amarillo, TX along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Lena Monroe Scott and two uncles, George A. Scott and James R. Scott and one aunt, Mary R. Scott.
