Sharon Kay Miller, 64 of Ruidoso, New Mexico formerly of Dimmitt, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Memorial services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, September 13, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home with Kelly Moore officiating. Service are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, Texas.

Sharon was born November 23, 1956 in Dimmitt, Texas to Harold and Jo (Baccus) Miller. Sharon attended school in Dimmitt graduating with the class of 1975, after high school Sharon moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech graduating in May of 1980 with Bachelors in Home Economics. Sharon then moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico working as a Nutritionist for WIC retiring in 2015.

Sharon was an avid fan of all Texas Tech sports and enjoyed traveling many places around the world, including England, Mexico, Hawaii, Jamaica, as well as many places in the continental United States. She also enjoyed camping. Sharon loved to attend class reunions and kept in contact with many of her former classmates.

Sharon was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi in Ruidoso. Sharon collected all kinds of Disney, Looney Tunes, Warner Bros., and Winnie the Pooh memorabilla to give to the children involved in the WIC program.

Sharon leaves behind her fur babies Boo Boo and JJ, her life-long friend William (Bill) Scott, and a host of friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Harold, in 1963; her mother, Jo Miller Shearer, in 1976, and her step-dad, James Shearer, in 2006.
