Teresa Aleman Rivera, 88, of Dimmitt, TX, died on Friday, December 26, 2014 in Amarillo, TX. Visitation was be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home in Dimmitt, TX. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Dimmitt, TX. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens, arrangements by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt, TX. Teresa was born on May 18, 1926 in San Benito, TX to Miguel and Dolores (Balli) Aleman. She married Alberto Rivera, Sr. on November 1944 in Donna, TX. She was a homemaker, and was a born again Christian in 1987, when she dedicated her life to the Lord. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and visiting with her family. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jose Miguel Aleman and a sister, Guadalupe Pina.
