Tomasa Tenorio, 79, of Hart passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Lubbock. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at St. John's Catholic Church in Hart at 10:30 AM with Rev. Lupe Mayorga officiating, burial to follow at Hart Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM at the church on Tuesday evening. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Tomasa was born March 7, 1931 in Gonzales, Texas to Cruz and Otilia Cedillo. She married Paul Tenorio, Sr. in 1946. She moved to Hart in 1953, she was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Catholic Church of Hart. She is survived by four sons Paul Tenorio, Jr., and Arthur Tenorio, Sr. both of Lubbock; Cruz Tenorio of Dimmitt and Gilbert Tenorio of Hart; four daughters Mary Cortez, Sylvia Godino and Priscilla Walker all of Hart and Patricia Chia of Edmonson. Thirty-five grandchildren; eighty-five great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tenorio, Sr, two daughters, Delia Medrano and Chonita Tenorio and one son Aureliano Tenorio.
