Wanda Black, 77, of Hart passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Dimmitt. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church of Hart at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wilbur Ormond officiating with burial at Hart Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Wanda was born June 13, 1933 in Wheeler County to Ernest and Ruth Wagner. She grew up in Wheeler County. She married Charles Black on December 25, 1949. She lived in Hart since in 1963. She and her husband owned and operated High Plains Insurance Agency in Hart. She enjoyed making arts and crafts, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hart. She is survived by her husband Charles Black of Hart; three sons Donnie Black and his wife Bernadine of River Road; Ricky Black and his wife Dana of Nazareth and Chad Black and his wife Tammy of Hart. Nine grandchildren Sage Black; Jacy Black; Brady Black; Brodie Black; Reyla Swearingen; Marsha Pohlmeier; Wendy Wilcox, Jamie Black and Chase Black. Eight Great Grandchildren She is preceded in death by eight brothers Cecil, Kell, Tommie, Lee, Ernest Elmo, Billy Wayne, Bobby Ray, and Weldon Lester Wagner, and one sister Patsy Gwendolyn Wagner.
