Willie Mae Smith, 83, of Dimmitt passed away Friday, April 29, 2011 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 2:00PM at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Oates officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral home of Dimmitt. Willie Mae was born June 7, 1927 in Oklahoma. She spent most of her adult life in Levelland, Texas. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing Bingo and loved to cook and sing. She is survived by six daughters Arlene Williams of Lubbock, Texas; Martha Edwards of California, Shirley Thomas of Hereford; Phyllis Fields of California; Judith Debow of Dallas, Texas and Janeail of California and two sons Gary Smith and Charles Brewer both of California. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, "Smitty" Smith and one son Bobby Joe Brewer.
